2025 will be here in just a few sleeps. I like to look back at the previous year and think about all the things I did…and didn’t do. Did I do all the things that I wanted to? Usually the answer is not all of them. Each year we get to write a new chapter. Everyone talks about making new year resolutions. I quit doing this awhile ago. Why? Because they never stick. I started making goals instead. What are my goals for the new year? A goal can be measured and you can always make it bigger if you achieve early what you set out to do. One of my goals is always to use the servant heart that God gave me. How are different ways I can do that? Have you ever put this on your New Year Goal List? Perhaps you should think about that. Don’t waste your God given gifts, talents, and treasures. I like to think of the song Hands and Feet by Audio Adrenaline “I wanna be your hands, I wanna be your feet, I’ll go where you send me.” Also, “Do Something” by Matthew West. Look up the lyrics and tell me if your heart isn’t touched. See the insert on how you can use your gifts in our parish! Many blessings and achieved goals to you in 2025, Karissa Forde Fellowship & Stewardship
