I made the rounds of the deaneries to visit, pray and share a meal with the priests. One of the things I asked them was how and where they experience joy in their priesthood.  Many priests said that visiting Catholic schools, celebrating school Masses and hearing confessions of students, and teaching in classrooms give priests life. Priests are energized by the joy and enthusiasm of youth, and by their excitement about learning our Catholic faith.
