When we expanded our church twenty years ago, a resource center was part of this. Of course, how people get their information has changed since then. But it still is a great resource for those who wish to read a good Catholic book instead of watching The Bachelorette on TV.
I recently finished reading an enlightening book called Antioch and Rome that I checked out of our library. It gives insights into the two cradles of early Christianity. I learned a few things that I missed
in seminary. I guess one is never too old to learn something new.
Our resource center has lots of great books along with some DVDs that can help us to know, love, and serve Christ. I am grateful to Bette Niccolls, Mary Mockler, and Susan Garbe who have kept our
library in order for many years. And I encourage you to check it out, for the first time or again.
You might be surprised.
