I know you all have hopefully heard about our golf outing by this point and seen the beautiful trophy in the gathering space. However, I would like to tell you more about this event and not just try to implore you to sign up. This event is for our children, and not just the Pius, Regis, Xavier kids, but all the kids. We have an amazing Religious Education program here at Pius and the teachers, assistants, and directors put everything they have into making sure the light of Christ enters our children’s lives. Unfortunately, like everything, this comes with a cost. That is where the golf outing comes in. The proceeds from this event will help support our RE program, making it much more affordable for our families to have our kids in this program. But that is not all. We will also be taking a portion of those proceeds and applying it to help our kids attend such enriching events like NCYC and Catholic Heart.
Hard to say no to that, right? If you said yes, then that is the right answer. Come sign up to play in the golf outing. If you want to sponsor anything or volunteer for it, we can make that happen as well. Please, support all our children at St. Pius, have a “ball,” and win some amazing prizes like tickets to the Iowa Cubs, the Kernels, UNI Panther Football, St. Louis Cardinals, and so much more.
