Hello! My name is Grace Parrish and I have been given the amazing blessing to be the new Youth Formation Coordinator and Liturgy Assistant. As a lifelong parishioner at St. Pius, I am very excited to be taking on such a role. For some background on myself, my family consists of my parents Mike and Mary Parrish, as well as my sister Kathleen, all of whom also are members of St. Pius X. I attended St. Pius Elementary as well as Regis Middle School, and graduated from Xavier High School in 2019, where I took part in many things such as Campus Ministries, Key Club, Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Show Choir Stage Crew, Art Club, and Tennis. After high school I went on to attend Central College in Pella, Iowa and got a degree in Sociology. While at Central, I was also highly active, taking part in things such as Dance Marathon, Hall Council, Student Support Services, our spirit club on campus called Dutch Brigade, Campus Ministries, was a part of and helped lead the Catholic group on campus called Alive, and was a four-year member of the triathlon team. I also took percussion and piano lessons while at school, and ended up playing both drum kit and steel drum in Central's steel drum band. My hobbies include music, exercise, reading, being outdoors, cooking, baking, boating, and glass blowing. I am excited to be working with all of you, and cannot wait to see where this road takes me.
