Biographical Information:  Married to Mike Esker for 33 years, BS from Iowa State University, 6 children.  Retired June of 2024 from 12 years at Xavier High School in Campus Ministry. 

Church & Community Volunteer experience and involvement: Life long Catholic, members of St. Pius beginning in 1996. Our 6 children attended St. Pius, Regis and Xavier. Our youngest child will graduate from Xavier in 2024.  Over the years at St. Pius, I have been involved in many ministries such as Children's Liturgy of the Word, Confirmation, Extra Ordinary Minister of Communion, food pantry, and Catholic Worker house meals. I served at  PTO President and was on a steering team for Renew. I have been a CEW team member and have had the pleasure of working with all the area Pastors in my role as Campus Minister at Xavier.
 
With my retirement from Xavier I have more flexibility with time and resources.  I would like to share those with my parish community. The St. Pius community has been central to my life for many years and I consider it an extension of my family.
